Pershore Heritage and History Society
Established
in
the
1990’s
to
research,
preserve
and
share
the
history
of
Pershore,
the
Pershore
Heritage
and
Historical
Society
is
still
active
in
the
town.
Today,
the
Society
runs
the
Pershore
Heritage
Centre,
based
inside
the
Town
Hall,
where
they
exhibit
a
wide
range
of
fascinating
artefacts
and
documents
relating
to
the
history
and
industry
of
the
Vale.
Pershore
Heritage
Centre
is
based
in
Pershore
Town
Hall
with
over
2000
sq
ft
of
wall
and
floor displays. The centre also incorporates Pershore History Society.
Our purpose is:
•
To interest people in local history and archaeology,
•
Record the history of the area,
•
Preserve that which is worth preserving without impeding progress,
•
Promote and exhibit items of public interest in the Heritage Centre in Pershore,
Assist people in their quest for their roots with the growing interest in family tree
interests.
